Newborn Photography, Ashford, Kent – 10 day old little Tadhg

I met this tiny chap and his family last weekend. He and his family live pretty close to me.

He was tiny but adorable and chilled. His sense of calm was contagious, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Their dog Grace (a Pug, I love Pug’s) was my buddy the whole session, keeping an eye out on her baby brother. Her parents were amazing, making me feel very welcome, and assisting me when needed. Everyone was so calm, radiating from their little treasure.

He has 4 older brothers. I only met 2 of them.

Meg time

Entertained one of my bf’s eldest daughter for 10 minutes whilst she put her youngest down for a nap.

I also had the opportunity to try out my new 85mm lens 🙂

I submitted this picture for the Portrait Assignment for my Advanced Photography Assignment I am taking with the Institute of Photography – top marks woohoo 🙂

Family Studio Portrait Session

At Bigjam Studio’s in Sittingbourne, at the beginning of December.

Using the new studio they have moved to. I have photographed this lovely lad a couple of times before but it was the first time I met the rest of the family, his Mum is a very good friend of mine.

On-Location Child Portrait session at the Environmental Centre

I had a lovely time with this little lady, her Mum, Nan & dog. We are going to be meeting up again.

I’ve been to the Environmental Centre before. I was actually taken there by the Occupational therapist a number of times, with my camera. I have been there a few times with friends and my parents.

I’ve been there at different times of year aswell. I’ve also been there for a few workshops and photographed a party there.

I think its a great place, and strongly recommend their coffee and cakes 🙂
